Mr. Anil Tandukar was an avid listener of music from his young age. Almost all the albums of every genre could be found in his library. This keen interest in music played a vital role to shape up his career in audio-visual medium later.
He started working in various film magazines and shifted to making of television comercials.He was also involved in Nepali films as chief assistant dircetor and production controller.Later he started to work as an advisor to various film and music based television programs such as; Syapatri & Chhaya Chhavi.Later, he produced more than 52 episodes of a film based program called "Cinema"independently. He handled various music based programs for production houses like Drishya and Sunlight.
Anil then moved to music video direction and has more than 70 videos to his credit. Some of them have been highly acclaimed and award winners such as; Pahilo Pahilo by Bimala Rai, Komal Tyo Timro Badanma by Sabin Rai, Tyo Raat Ko Samjhana and Kunai Jadoo Thiyo by Pramod Upadhyay, Priya by Deepak Bajracharya and Timr Samjhana Le by Dipesh Kishor Bhattarai.
He also worked as chief of program producer for Galaxy, which handled the entertainment package for Channel Nepal.
Anil is working as a free lance music video director currently.
